The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) sponsors more than 1,900 conferences and events each year all over the world, curating cutting-edge content in technical fields. This fall, IEEE is sponsoring a 5G and future networks broadband conference—the 2021 IEEE Fourth 5G World Forum. This conference will bring together representatives from industry, academia, and research to share their insights and discuss advances in 5G and beyond as well as address challenges in future networks deployment.

The conference will be held from 13-15 October, 2021. While there is uncertainty about the state of travel and convening in October 2021 in Montreal, we have planned for a predominantly face-to-face meeting that includes provisions for remote participation and attendance for those who cannot attend in person. In the meantime, we are working with our conference organizers to select a venue where the conference can be safely conducted following health guidelines and best practices. Despite any questions about format, it will remain an ideal platform to reach key stakeholders in the field of 5G and beyond.
