The 5G-MOBIX project develops automatic vehicle functionalities using 5G technological innovations along multiple cross-border corridors and urban test scenarios, under different traffic conditions, network coverage and service demand. Several automated mobility use cases are potential candidates to benefit from 5G, such as cooperative overtaking, highway lane merger, truck platoon, valet parking, driving in urban environments, road user detection, remote vehicle control, transparency , HD map update, media and entertainment.
