On 10 May 2022, the 5G-MOBIX GR-TR Cross-border Corridor presented their results and showcased the impact of the tested solutions during demonstrations of the ‘See What I see’ functionality for trucks driving in platoon formation, remote vehicle inspection, predictive risk assessment and automated truck routing into customs.

The autonomous driving demonstration carried out in İpsala (Turkey) of Ford Otosan trucks crossing the border gate from Turkey to Greece was realized by analyzing the data obtained from roadside sensors on the Safir Bulut platform established in the TÜBİTAK Gebze campus.

The video (made by 5G-MOBIX partner TÜBİTAK BİLGEM) shows the "platooning" and "see what I see" applications, as well as other auxiliary scenarios for faster and safer transactions within the customs area, which were implemented during the demonstration.
